Kida's Fanart

Just a little somethingsomething I made. It's my first fanart like this, and it was so much fun to make so I think i'll make more in the future it took me about an hour to do the prison jumpsuit because that was the first time i'd ever done that kind of thing in photoshop ^^

So here's another batch I made since it's 2 in the morning and I was still pretty inspired by the Wet T-Shirt contest (i still wish it wasn't on the only weekend that i went out of town ) I included every girl at least once, and some may be shown more than once because i had more ideas/ways to use them ^^

Girl!!! You used Esme!! Ugh!! I love that snippet of Esme and Kida at the end! The badassness of those two! (Don't make me ship them now) XDD UGH ALL OF THIS IS PERF! <3333

Wow, I didn't think it was possible to get the expressions and actions of everyone so perfect o.o They are exactly the same I pictured it in my head o.o This is seriously impressive!!

Here's another batch, this time based off of the Uli and Katja arc that I've been writing in the Fanfictions section. There's 3 fanarts in total, but I'm uploading them as I upload each corresponding part (No spoilers! ) I was inspired by the beautiful graphics that you normally see on Tumblr so they're a little different. It took so long to make each of them too D: never aaggaaiinn xD

This is beyond astonishing! *O* The thing I love the most about this is that you have taken into consideration the coloring and LIGHTING, which people seem to ignore completely. It makes it look so fitting and so canon, and the whole art piece just blows my mind. This is what puts the art in fanart >.<

I love how it's such an analogy about Kida, at least in my eyes. *dons psychoanalist suit*

Cards - representing the "game" her life was before the events of Lockdown. The very fact that it's a Queen represents how dominant and leader like her personality is. It kinda gives the vibe that Kida is slightly feminist, since it's a Queen instead of a King. Like a way of saying : women rule as well, if not better than men.

Crown - Greed, power, dominance. The more european pattern really fits the German Kaiser/French King vibe, nodding to her nationality.

Brachiossaurus - represents the old, what has gone by. Time is experience and culture. A nod to her more bright side? Also, archaology means adventurous. We know how Kida is.

And, of course, her loyal gang. In the shadows, but still part of the world (Kida's) that seduced them so much.

Did you write the poem? I interpret the rain as being the law and the lack of liberty. They don't run because it's fun to challenge what transcends us. The very basis of being Human.

Wow, I probably only thought of half of the things you said but your insight is just incredible.  EVERYTHING, and I mean everything you said is spot on about Kida Especially the little power and feminist bit. Her last name actually literally translates into The Queen, in French as well c:

And the words are actually lyrics to a song called Silver Lining by Hurts, which I listened to while writing the corresponding fanfic because it is what set the overall tone and inspired me ^^ The same goes for the others I'm going to upload after I put up the last part. Thank you for your input though! Smart is the new sexy. Haha, but I love when people do such deep insights, I'm even guilty to still doing them sometimes so you just made my day like 500% better, thank you!

I'm absolutely amazed. This is fantastic work! I think you must realise that already with all the other awesome feedback you're getting dear but this is seriously awesome.

Thanks so much for including Eva, the wet t shirt contest is just how I imagined it, like Ylva said! The Eva and Anya part made me squeal, and the other pieces you have done are super artistic.

This is for Chelsea!!   Based off the topic with Kida and Esme right now. I put a lot of effort into this and I probably used up like an entire gigabyte trying to find the right pictures to mesh together so I don't think I'll be doing something like this for a loong long time XD
