TASK #3 VILLAIN SAYS

(OOC: And now you two (Cale and Dimitri) KISS )

[OOC: I'm sorry, my heart belongs to Kuzco, but Cale is just so hot D:]

'Quit apologising,' he laughed, hitting him softly on the arm, regrettably with his right hand. He cursed at his idiocy and rubbed his arm under the wound, which only made things worse.
'If it was meant to be easy, then that guy over the speakers would be having absolutely no fun right now,' he said solemnly, taking a deep breath before continuing, 'besides, we're the youngest guys in here, we have to suck it up for the others. Especially after everything the girls have been through.. we've kinda had it easy..' Cale paused and stared down at the bandage, a crooked smile appearing on his lips, 'you know, apart from this.. mess,' he said eventually, gesturing to his shoulder with his left hand.

Dimitri looked over at the girls as the blonde man spoke. He was right, they had had it easy.
"Yeah, you're right," he said and smiled at him, taking a step back to look around the room, specially at the corner. It looked like there was only one object left, and the object made him shudder wondering what it would be used for.

"Now isn't that touching," Korso announced sarcastically before he looked at the last object, knowing these last two rounds would be a lot of fun. Not that he wasn't amused already, the last round had been very amusing.
"O97599," he read again, this new task probably the most demanding of the ones so far.
"What do you think of the cleaver? I sharpened it earlier to make it look its best," he smiled. It was a lie, he'd have someone do that for him. No way he'd waste time sharpening it himself.
"I want you to cut off one of your fingers," he said as calmly as if he might ask someone to pass the salt, and when the silence fell he turned the speakers on again smiling. "What? It's not like you need all ten."

Odette screamed when the bullet was fired. Guns scared her, and seeing one pointing at her brother did not make it any better. She was relieved to see that Cale seemed to be taking it ok.
She looked over at the man who had fired the gun. He looked like it was also hard for him. If that was the case, then maybe he wasn't so bad? Now that she had had some time to think about it, she knew he was doing it to save someone else. Like they had all done so far.
She listened to the next task. They were all just too cruel. How could you ask that of another person? For no reason none the less. It was just to entertain some sick person.

(Oh god. I've seen an episodes of Hannibal that were tamer than this. Totally not hinting you should make someone eat the finger lol)

Cillian did not want to listen. He heard a gun shot. And yet another scream. When it seemed to calm down Korso spoke again. It was his turn. Cutting off his own finger. He sighed. Well atleast Korso had not told him, that Megara should do it. That would be worse. When he heard Korso mocking him he clenched his teeth. What did he want him to say? Thank him for this task? Cillian let go off Megara as he moved to the cleaver. Laying his hand on the ground. Okay. Wich finger could he miss. Korso had said one finger. Not which one. He had his left hand on the ground. folding all of his fingers except his left ring finger. He took a deep calm breath. Raising the cleaver up. He focussed on his ring finger. Making sure he would only cut off that finger and no other. As he lowered the cleaver. The blade going through his flesh. His bone. It was quick. Cillian moved the cleaver away. Exhaling as he saw his finger laying there. Lifeless and removed from his body. There was pain. And blood. He couldn't believe how much blood could leave from such a small piece. Ofcourse the blonde had bled more. Cillian just looked at his left hand. He had now nine fingers. One missing ring finger on the left hand. Cillian raised it to look at it. Trying to ignore the pain. He tried to ignore it.

'At least that's not us,' he whispered to him after the voice appeared again. He tried to stand beside him but his sudden loss of blood earlier had made him feel dizzy and he fell to his knees almost immediately. 'Ugh, I guess I won't be doing that again any time soon,' he groaned, putting his left hand to his temple as he watched the older man do as he was told from the corner of his eye.

Meg tensed as the gun was pulled into action. What was wrong with this man? How did he find pleasure in this? She couldn't help but jump as the shot was fired, trying to block out any form of noise afterwards. No screams, nothing. Her eyes shot to Cillian as his number was called, terrified he would bleed out from the task. No one usually died from a cut off finger, but it still involved blood loss, and that was never good. She gently rested her hand on his back, hoping that it would help, but it probably wasn't. He did it for her..and she didn't know why.

[OOC: I want to apologize for being so late. Our "internet" has been gone all day just about v.v'']

Korso smiled at the finger the old man had chosen to cut off. Interesting..
"Okay guys, are you ready for the finale?" he smiled, knowing this would set them off big time.
"I want you all to take a look at R78098." He found it funny to say his prisoner number, knowing that not everyone would remember who that was. "You can use any tool in this room to your advantage. I want you all to knock him unconscious. If he is not unconcious within the next minute, I am killing you all. And trust me, I will know if you are faking. Tick tock, people. Tick tock," he said and turned the speakers off one final time.

Dimitri instantly, quickly started stumbling towards the gun he had let slide earlier, grabbing it with both hands to keep from dropping it. There were no more bullets inside, so it was safe right?
There was no time to think or act, if this didn't happen they'd all be dead, and for once he wasn't going to hesitate when so much was at stake.
He took the gun in one hand, holding it so the hard handle was sticking out. This was a scary task. It was a fine line between having someone pass out and actually killing them, but if he took the time to consider, he'd be dead anyway, along with everyone else. Including Dimitri himself.
He ran back up to the blonde and hit the back of his head with all the strength he could muster, hoping and praying that this wouldn't kill him. But at the same time hoping that he wouldn't turn around and attack him back.

Cale looked up as the voice returned, oh great.. he thought, wondering who would realise it was him the voice was talking about. He didn't have to wait long though as he felt something collide with the back of his head and if that didn't piss him off enough, he managed to hit his injured shoulder against the floor as he fell.
'What the hell?!' he shouted, sweeping his legs back and knocking the person who was behind him to the floor before sitting on them so they couldn't escape. When he realised who had been the one to hit him he sighed and flicked him on the forehead, knowing that the guy was only doing it to save them all, 'out of everything, your first thought is to pick up that gun again?' Cale said with a raised voice, slightly annoyed at the guy and the pain he could still feel in his shoulder, 'I mean there's chloroform in here somewhere, you idiot,' he said, irritated as he thought about his previous task with the unconscious girl, 'are you trying to kill me?'

Odette sat silently on the floor, relieved that she wouldn't have to do anything while someone else was doing their task. Her back still hurt and her stomach hadn't settled completely yet.
She listened to the next task.The number seemed familiar, but when she noticed the man on the speaker was talking about a guy, she realized it couldn't be her. She thought about it for a while, eventually looking up at her brother, only to see him get hit in the head. So she had been right, it was Cale who needed to be unconscious for all of them to survive.
The gun to his head didn't seem to work, so what would? She looked around the room, thinking of what to do. When she heard Cale mention chloroform, she got of from the spot and towards the bottle she had seen just seconds ago. Next to it was the cloth the girl had used earlier. Odette picked up both things and looked at them. Shaking slightly she turned around and looked at Cale.

"Tick tock," Korso's voice sounded. "20 seconds left."

When he fell, he fell on his back. Having the air knocked out of him he dropped the gun and had no way of defending himself when the blonde man sat down on him, keeping him from moving. He could see the blood in his hair where he'd hit him with the gun, but it obviously wasn't enough.
Having the man sit on top of him didn't make it easier to breathe, and he struggled under him, but he had never actually been in a fight and knew nothing of how to get him off of him again.
"Well, hurry then jackass!" he called panicstricken once the man announced they had less than half a minute left. Was it really his priority to fight him now?! He was going to kill them all if he didn't do anything!

Meg sat on the floor as she watched the others flock to the blonde man. Was it really necessary to knock him out? Wouldn't the gas to that already? When the voice announced there was only 20 seconds left, she quickly got to her feet. This was taking too long, they would all be dead if it didn't get done faster. Her eyes fell to the chloroform bottle and rag in Odette's hands. "Here, let me. I doubt you would want to do this to your own brother." she said with a comforting smile. Pouring some of it onto the rag, she knelt down next to Cale before gently pressing the cloth to his face. "Sorry...Be good to her, ok?" By her, she meant Odette, so hopefully he would understand that. She felt somehow responsible for Odette being in this room...she was the one that helped them get put together in a cell, she was the one that made Odette talk about what happened between them. It just wasn't right to have them tortured this way..

Cillian sighed taking the club. But before he could do anything the girls had taken the choloform. He held the club with his left hand. As he stood there. With his right hand he gave the dark haired male a pat on his shoulder. "Nice try." Cillian said sarcastically as he moved towards the blond. "Is he out?" Cillian asked Megara. They had to be sure. Cillian held the club just in case.

When Cale heard the voice announce that there was only 20 seconds left, he started to feel just as panicked as the guy he was sitting on, 'fine!' he said quickly, but before he could stand up he felt something being pressed against his face and the words of a woman in his ear. His immediate reaction was to hold his breath, despite the fact that this was what they all needed to survive, and push the woman away from him.

'Fuck,' he muttered slowly, standing up quickly and looking around at everyone as he realised what he'd done.

Cillian sighed and rolled his eyes. Taking hold of the club he hit the blond against his head. Making sure he had knocked the blond unconscious. ''Done.'' He said as he put the club away. ''Sorry.'' Cillian said. But actually he did not really care now. It was the final round. They would be unconscious as soon as Korso would drug them again. Not to mention he had no connection with this male.

Cale swallowed hard, wishing he'd just let his instincts go and let that woman continue with what she was doing. But he stood his ground, bracing himself for the next hit. He smiled slightly towards Odette, trying to make her see that he was going to be ok after all of this as he felt the club hit the back of his head and everything went black.

Meg fell back as Cale pushed her, the bottle falling from her hands and rolling away. She was hoping to have made it painless, but he just wasn't willing. As she pushed up on her elbows, she heard the club smacking against his head, knocking him out onto the floor. Well..he asked for it. Her eyes traveled up to Cillian as he dropped the club. "I'm glad you had a back up plan.." she said, trying to add some humor but it just came out sounding like she was terrified. At least it was all over now.

Cillian nodded. ''Well it is him or us. Sorry but. I'd rather knock him out than let you die. And die myself. Not to mention the whole me cutting off my finger for you would have been useless than.'' He said slightly smirking. ''Are you okay?'' He asked holding out his right hand for her to get up.

Meg smiled softly and took his hand, standing up slowly. "I'm fine, thank you." She looked down at Cale and sighed. "Thank god this is all over..."

The gas started to fill the room, sightless and without smell the prisoners would still feel it when they started getting lightheaded. That wouldn't last for long though, they would all be unconcious within the matter of seconds.

[OOC: When they wake up, they will be in their new cells. The cellmate swap is in 5 hours, and you can all start your after-task topics then. All serious wounds will have been bandaged (such as Cillian's finger and Cale's shoulder and Odette and Megara's backs. (And Cale's head, those spikes would probably leave a pretty bad wound...)) but the bandages won't be changed after that. It is just to make sure they do not bleed out and not an act of kindness.
