Meg woke up once again on the cold floor of yet another cell. She was slowly getting used to the frequent swaps; the headaches were less painful, the soreness from being moved turned to numbness. But then again, maybe she was just numb all the time.
After what seemed like hours of lying on the ground, she pushed herself up into a sitting position. The same darkness that has surrounded her for so many months. C-division just seemed to never let her go. At least now there was a single mattress and a few decorations. Her eyes scanned the cell, finding another woman lying not to far away from her.
She sat up against the wall, leaving the mattress vacant in case the other woman wanted it. Her mind started to wander as she waited for her new cellmate to wake.
