Since her new cellmate was not getting up any time soon. She found the binder on the top bunk bed. She zipped off the top part of her jumpsuit to cover her hands while touching the metal to climb up and sit. Looking inside the book she found her passed out cellmates profile. She chuckled as she found out whoever was in charge of the arrangements. Left her with a sadomasochistic rapist and cannibal. Jamika looked down at the passed out man and was a bit happy he was passed out. Though a part of her couldn't help but want to punch him. As a distraction looked at the wall behind her and knocked on it to get someone's attention. "Hello, Is someone over there?" she asked. Jamika looked through the binder at her picture.

Mulan, who was leaning against the wall nodding in and out of sleep found it hard to focus on positive thoughts. She kept repeating the word, 'kill' over and over. Killing, had ruined her childhood. Killing had ruined her adolescence. Killing had ruined what didn't remain of her teenage years.
That's right. Her birthday had passed. She could feel it. She wasn't a cute little teenager anymore. She was eighteen. She didn't feel eighteen. She thought when she was eighteen, she would grow up and the anger would dissolve away. But it didn't. It hadn't.
Ugh, didn't I just hear her voice? Mulan scoffs. She almost felt bad for taking out the braids.

"January 25th." Mulan replied.

Jamika heard an answer from a familiar voice. Though she didn't quite understand it. "January 25th? Mulan is that you? What does that mean?" she asked for context.

Mulan is silent again. Unsure if she wanted to share the information. She felt tired. She felt really,really tired. She wanted to sleep. And sleep knowing everything was all good. Maybe not around her, but within her mind. She was ready to be at peace for once. To know she no longer had a reason to be angry.

"January 25th." Mulan repeats. "S' My birthday. Or was. I can feel it. I always know. I'm eighteen now. Feels weird. Becoming an adult in prison." She was excited, but she was also sad. Of course she'd never let anyone know that. That day it was snowing in Japan... Mulan closes her eyes. Peace... She thought to herself. What is it like... to be at peace...?

Jamika went quiet for a minute. That was a too personal for her. She contemplated to herself weather or not she should do something or leave her alone. Though no one wanted to be alone on their life birthday crisis. Plus if the girl trusted her this much to tell her something personal. This was the best time to reciprocaate and let it pay off later. Looking at the binder she thought of a few games. She figured Mulan had not been a kid for awhile. So she was going to give her a chance to be that for a minute. "Mulan, You know you never just get a day. the whole month is yours. Meg told me there was a binder with the prisoners profile in each cell. Get the book. We're going to play some stupid birthday games. Besides you got to see what my cellmate looks like. This man looks like he stepped straight off the set from the remember the time music video." she said and chuckled a bit.

( confession. Everytime I watch the prince of egypt. or see one of the characters used in some mep video or other. I have to watch the michael jackson remember the time )

(OOC: I just recently saw that this past summer with ny great grandmother. She loves it. But not as much as she likes beating my little sister's ass at wrestling XD)

"You met MJ? That's a good person. She shouldn't be here." Mulan frowns and rolls over. She stretches out her arm and pulls the binder with her fingertips. It slides and hits her in the hip. She opens it. "I don't like games." She mumbles to herself. "Never saw it." She shrugged.

Jamika chuckle went to a frustrated sigh. "Of course you didnt see it." she said. Jamika turned the pages picking three people from the book to start the game "Yes, I talked to her and another one named Mary. I didn't get to say much to them though. Is that what you really think about her? Why? Did she not do the crime?" she asked. "Alright the game is screw, Marry, Kiss. I give you three people you have to set the action verb to each person. First people are Moses, Tulio, and Dimitri. Those are mouth fulls. I hope I pronounced them right." She said.

"She was just angry. And in the moment." Mulan shrugs. She frowns at the game. That's kind of dumb. Try this on for size.
"Fight, meet, and stab..." Mulan thought about the Halloween party. "In the Palm.... for MJ."

"And? So? What does being angry have to do with not belonging in prison? And you sound like you have animosity towards them. Care to share?" she asked.

"Anger has everything to do with it." To do with everything for Mulan. Mulan shrugs again. "Moses, right? He's a dickhead I somewhat got in to it with him during one of the games. Tulio seems to have a crush on a friend of mine, found that out at the same game. And Dimitri... he's psycho crazy. It's always the quiet ones, you know? Also at the same game. Ask Norwood or MJ or Chel about it." Mulan purses her lips. "Though he did outdo me in the shrieking contest."

"Any criminal act your caught in means a rightful punishment. No matter what emotions are involved. If that was the case you would be in juvie and free right now instead of doing hard time prison. Dont glorify people Mulan just because they were decent. She already has more privilege and opportunities then you will ever have society wise. Unless she used it to give you an easier life here. She wasn't nice just decent. Decent people dont deserve any off the hook or free card pass." Jamika said. Being mostly involved in street crimes with her sister. Those were the ideals that had Jamika recognize her standing and how to point out what people to use in growing status. There was always a difference between decent people and nice people. She sighed as she went off on a diatribe instead of focusing on distracting the girl with the birthday games. But it seemed she wasn't that caught up as she was describing why she had a problem with each man. Though not in any context of why she felt the way she did about the two. Only giving names. She looked for the other two names Chel and Norwood through the binder "I will if I get the chance to meet them. I wouldn't expect criminals to have decent morale. And what do you care about who He likes. Its just a simple word. No need to take it seriously. Now second group is Ariel, Jane, and Tuptim." Jamika continued on with the game.

Mulan scowls with a scoff. What was she so worked up for? Meg shouldn't be here no matter what Jamika said."You don't know her like I do." Mulan mumbles quietly. "Dye hair, no comment, annoy."

Jamika laughed as she heard the scoff from Mulan. She didn't know people still did that. "As if. Did you just scoff at me? EW that's is so catty and teenager of you. Mulan You are so not ready to be an adult." She said with a mocking valley girl voice. "Women don't scoff they just leer quietly. If you need a sound to vent frustration though suck your teeth. It will let people take you a tad bit more serious and be annoyed at the same time." She added. Hearing Mulan talk about not knowing the girl. Mulan had her there. But seeing as Mulan didn't make a comeback proving Meg had personally been nice as oppose to decent. Jamika felt her point was proven and if Mulan didn't see the damage of glorifying nice people. She wasn't going to take her time to do it. She instead focused on her choices on the women she chose. "Alright its your birthday month so your getting away with this. But you have to explain your choices. What the hell kind of choice is no comment? And what you don't like red heads?" she said.

"I couldn't give less a shit about being a 'woman'. Women shouldn't chew gum; I smack and blow bubbles all the time. Women shouldn't fight; well I live for it. Women shouldn't walk, they glide. Well I'll wear cargo pants with my hands in my pockets." Mulan replies, annoyed with Jamika's comment on being lady-like. She sounded like her grandmother.
"Her hair is psycho crazy. It stands out too much there isn't an nonchalance to it. It's pretty, don't get me wrong. But it's so bright. I'd have to dye it. I do believe she,as in Jane; and Norwood have a thing, but I thought he and Meg had a thing; and while I'd like to use the excuse of there was tension when they all were in the room, but there was shit loads of tension anyway, so that's pretty irrelevant. But Norewood did give MJ more attention than Jane but when he wasn't focusing on MJ and her problems he was next to Jane. However I've never met Jane so I have no idea what kind of personality she has nor what she's like. Therefore I've no grounds to judge her or give a compliment or negative sneer to, towards, or about her. So as I said: No comment. I also don't know my current cellmate, but she's probably dead so.... annoy. In the event she is alive and does wake up."

"Huh? And your way got you in jail quicker didn't it? Acting like a woman is one of the best ways to survive. You don't have to be an extremist. But picking things up can help you have a easier life. Just think about it." she said. She listened to her reason for explaining her reason for each person and chuckled. "I actually wouldn't be surprised if this jail did forget to bury one. I thought the same thing about my cellmate until he just woke up. Just give her some time to get off the drugs. Tzipporah, Chel, and Mary." she said.

Mulan is silent. "They don't bury people." She says quietly. "They use them as puppets." Mulan frowns. Acting like a woman.. But she wasn't a woman. She was still a girl. But I'm eighteen... whoa. Such a weird number. "Ignore, show indescribable gratitude, meet." She was eighteen. But she wasn't a woman until she lost her v card. Or at least that's what she thought.
"What was your first time like?" Mulan asks. "Sex. I mean.."

After a moment of silence. Hearing Mulan speak of what this place did to the dead. Jamika connected it to the event Mulan had told her to ask specific people about. It also made her realize that Mulans pessimistic. internalized hurt nature may have come from very traumatic and not just feining to be dramatic. Which made her more intrigued to learn about the events of that day. But this was about playing for a bit. "Explain your answer. First time sex?" Jamika asked confused as she was caught of guard by the question. She coughed to regain her composure. "I mean." she started off not really sure where to take this. Should she deflect? This was going into personal territory on her end. It was also not the first question she expected Mulan to ask to know about her. She suspected that the hormones were raging. Which made her wonder why would she ask such a question? The way she talked about it before had Jamika think she had experience. Surely she had something in her memory vault. Jamika just decided to answer. Whatever Mulan decided what to do with the frivlous details was up to her. "Wow your really bold. From what I remember off the gate. Thats an expression by the way. I didnt do it on a gate. It wasn't as easy as porn made it look. My first time was Sloppy but intimate." she said. Jamika chuckled thinking about the first time. "I kicked him in the face and he headbutted me. We got the basic gist of it as we were working out the kinks." she added.

Mulan frowns. That didn't sound very... magical. She'd always thought it was perfect and intimate. Manila said it was intimate but could it really be that hard? She shakes her head. She'd have to find out when the time came. "Oh."was all she managed.

"Chel is probably the only person I'm eternally grateful for." Mulan smiles. She loved Chel. Like a mother. "...that's living. Tzipporah seems like someone I couldn't get along with and Mary, I could've met her. But if she's anything like the torture chick I just may have to kill her eventually."

Jamika laughed at Mulans response to her explanation. "I know its not as sexy when I explain it. But that's the truth." Jamika said. She thought about her husband. He could make it sound like an erotic romance novel that could drop anyone's underwear. As for herself Jamika found it endearing and remembered that was the night she did fall in love with him. Jamika lost that train of thought when Mulan started explaining. "Funny. If your so eternally greatful to her. How come you don't say she doesn't belong here. But you say that about Meg? And I don't know you and tzipporah here look like you can trade your best scowls and scoffs. Also torture chick?" she asked.

"Because there are some people who aren't strong enough to walk away; and some who are." Mulan shrugs. "My grandmother used to say that to me. In hopes of getting me to stop fighting. But then there are people like Chel, who do what they need to survive. It's survival of the fittest. And some people actually want to survive. Simple. And torture chick? She's the carrot top. And seriously,"

Mulan slowly lifts her hand to the back of her head, entangling her fingers in her thick hair. Mulan's face falls and her eyes lower to the bottom corner of her eyes. Her body slowly relaxes with sadness before her own self centered mindset took over and she ruffles her hair as if someone could see the act. She lowers her head to blow off the action.

"It's a long story." She says, finally finishing her sentence.

Jamika chuckled at Mulan saying is was a long story. It wasn't as if they were going anywhere. At least for now. Mulan said it was every two weeks they switched. But Jamika wasn't going to push but distract like she was suppose to. "Alright then now I think you have three more people left. Me, Kida, and Shang." she said

"What more can I do with you?" Mulan teases. "Hug her. And Hanzo? Aghhh." Mulan frowns and puts her forehead in her hand. "Kill him."

Jamika chuckled at Mulan's words towards her. "Cute. Your so lucky your not twenty one yet." Jamika said. As far as she was concerned twenty one was an adult. So she wasn't fully going to be adult with Mulan till then. Though she was curious about one thing. "Kill him? What did he do? Is this the game thing again?" she asked.
