[BROADCAST] Pleasure and Pain

The TV in cell B1 suddenly went on with a loud white noise sound that announced the beginning of the clip. Quickly it came into focus, and it became clear what was being broadcasted. Korso had been careful not to show Dimitri's hair on this clip, not to make it known this happened before their previous meeting. For all Megara knew this was sent live from whatever cell Dimitri was currently in.
Except from his hair, the TV wasn't shy on showing everthing. Dimitri's face burrowing itself in Chel's breasts, his hands eagerly working up and down her body, not to mention his groaning sounds and his face showing all kinds of pleasure as he thrust into her again and again and again.
Oh, Korso had wanted to show this from the beginning of their relationship, but had waited until the point where it would hurt the most. There was no better time than now. There was no way to ignore the TV either. Even if looking away, the loud sex noises the two were making would haunt the poor girl in her sleep.

Meg had been woken from her sleep by the television. At first, she ignored it, but as soon as she heard the noises, her eyes flew up to see Dimitri on tge screen. Her eyes just stared in shock at the screen as the images continued to flash. What is this? What...Tears began to fill her eyes before she tore her eyes from the screen. This can't be real...it can't be. She buried her face in her hands. "This isn't real...this isnt real...."

"You should not heed on what it is said to you by the warden, nor should you be affected by what Korso does to you." Hattori suddenly murmured from behind her, his legs folded over one another as he admired how quickly she was to break. She must have been close to this young man having intercourse with the latin female. While he did not condemn them for leaving morality aside, it felt strange to see a gratious woman like Megara slowly break with such a reveal. Korso was a disgusting vermin posing as a proud eagle. "He does not deserve such satisfaction."

Her eyes flicked over to him as she tried to stop the tears. She knew it wasn't smart to get close to Dimitri, but she couldn't let it effect her. She had to stop crying. She wiped the tears off her face with her sleeve and pushed away all of her feelings. She was on the brink of breaking, maybe she already has, but she had to stop it right now. It was a promise she made to her father, and she was so close to breaking it. Things had to change.
"It won't effect me anymore..." She tried to keep her face hard and not show any emotion. This would be the last thing Korso could do to her and get the reaction he wanted. From now on, she will not satisfy him.

Hattori calmly breathed in before pressing his hands on the concrete floor of the cell to get up and walk around the structure, his fingers passing on the walls around it, drawing a clear line around the cell, his eyes still not finding the TV screen. He was not particularly fond of the loud moans, but he was used to worst types of noises, so this'd do.

Suddenly halting, he breathed in, kneeling for a bit as he removed his shoe and looked towards the television with a strong frown. "Would you like me to try and break it?"

Her eyes followed him as he moved about the room. Surely the video must be close to finishing, but she didn't want to think about it, much less look towards the screen. She blocked out the sounds by focusing on something else entirely. When he mentioned trying to break he television, she hesitated at first. "No..that's probably what he wants. I just have to ignore it.."

His slit eyes darting towards the screen, he admired the way the two lovers went on with what they did on screen, a particular detail bothering him. "Why is the camera not focused on his hair? The angle makes little sense."

Walking closer so that he could be near the center of the cell to analyse the television, his brow furrowed a bit. "Could it be the recording is somehow manipulated?"

Her gaze returned to the television at his comment, doing her best not to cringe at the sight. True, it wasn't showing his hair, but maybe that was just a bad camera angle? "I'm sure it's just a bad angle...they can't be the best cameras around. Especially for a prison.."
But now that the suggestion was out there, maybe it was manipulated. Maybe this was an old video, from before the game where she met him. Maybe he was watching something similar with her and Cillian.

"In this place, I think it is wise not to make ghosts out of those of our kind." Hattori declared swiftly, moving his gaze towards Megara; now sick of watching the blasted recording. Putting his hands behind his back, he shook his head and looked at the walls of the cell. "I will choose to assume that it is a strategy to further try and break you. I'd ignore it. It'll keep your sanity."

She nodded, thinking about everything Hattori had said up to this point. He was right. Korso had tried to break her and almost succeeded. Had it not been for Hattori, her promise to her father would have been broken. It won't happen again. She pulled her gaze away from the tv and blocked out the sounds as best as she could. She softly whispered to herself a prayer of forgiveness in Greek in remembrance of her father. It probably was not loud enough for him to hear, but she didn't care either way.

Looking at the television above them with a frown once again, Hattori really began pondering what'd make an eagle like Korso prey upon snakes such as them. Girlfriend killed by the mob, maybe? Brother carved up by some mugger? Something like that, he thought. Something like that...happened to all of them probably, now that he thought of it. For some it happened one way, for others...another. Their stay in Darkstone came all out of multiple choice. A sick game. He now saw this was all the machination of someone who was broken inside himself.

"Behind all heartless monsters...there are Men and Women who once cared too much." he murmured slowly, shaking his head at the screen and possibly some cameras with disappointment in his eyes.

Her mind went to Korso, thinking if anything could have set him off on criminals like themselves. What Hattori said was true. Usually behind any action as bad as his, there's a strong reason. Just like how she wanted to achieve revenge for her parents' deaths. "It's not like any of us could get through to him..much less change his view of us. To him, we are all cold-blooded criminals."

"Yes. We are. Everyone in the world is a criminal though. Some just admit it. Like we did. Others...pretend they are not snakes until they explode." he said cryptically, his arms folded over his chest while he still kept gazing at the screen, wondering if the footage'd loop over and over; something that'd probably make him try and break the TV at some point. "In a way, I believe that we are the best people around this place."

She let out a small laugh as she tried to stop her childish habit of playing with the fabric in her fingers, but failed and continued anyway. "Very true as well. We admitted to our crimes, others just keep them hidden and let them fester." She had been hiding her actions for years, doing that exact thing, that is until she had been caught. Somehow they had found her, although her patterns were irregular and completly random. Maybe they just knew her next target...Her final target. She shook her head and returned her mind to the current conversation.

"I wonder what things would be like, had we all met outside of Darkstone, Megara-san." Hattori suddenly wondered in a calm tone, walking closer to her, albeit distracted in his movements, while he imagined what they'd be like as free people. Would any of them value life as much as many probably did at that moment? Probably not. But now they were grateful for living. More than anyone would know.

She smiled and placed her hands behind her on the mattress, slightly leaning back on her arms. Before she met Dimitri, she probably would have been in Greece with Cillian, but now..what would it be like? Would she have stayed with Cillian, or would she had decided to stay behind with Dimitri? Everything would be so different from her old life. She would have people that cared for her around, rather than being alone on the streets like she had been her whole life. "Life would be better, I can tell you that."

It was strange to find some sense of optimism in the jail they were forcibly incarcerated in, which did not make him feel guilty in any sort of way. It was good to feel good in dark places and dark environments. It was needed to survive.
Would he have cared for Porter-san? Would he still be annoyed by Marlo? Would he even try and talk to Megara-san? He did not know. He wished he did.

"Life is beautiful. Sadly, we only realize it when it is too late."

"Depends if you have the right life or not I suppose." Her life was certainly not a beautiful one. More of a horror film most likely. Others would kill to be back to where they were before. But for her, this was better than the alternative. Prison beats the streets anyday.

"Don't you fear death?" he asked her with his arms folded over his chest, a raised eyebrow on his face as he analyzed her words, slightly mesmerized at how blunt one could be about existing. Not that he blamed her though. Some people had such horrible lives that they were...born 'dead'.

"Not as much as I should." She stared blankly at the cell floor, thinking over the possibilities or a new life, or an old one. Death had been something she had escaped countless amount of times, it wasn't anything new to her. Everyone had a time, and hers hadn't been while she was on the streets, and hopefully it wasn't in here.

He nodded at her before sitting down, his legs folded over each other was he stared at the walls in front of them. That traditional stance always did manage to calm his nerves down. Not that he was nervous. He just needed to isolate his mind a bit. Yet, Megara made him constantly ask himself such weird questions.

The mood of the cell began to feel slightly heavy. "What about you? Do you fear death?" She leaned forward and rested her elbows on her knees, interested in what he would say. He didn't seem like the type to fear it, but appearences aren't everything. Deep down maybe there was something that couldn't be explained.

"Me? Fearing death? Perhaps. I think everyone fears the other side will not be what they believe in. I think life scares me the most, though." he cryptically remarked once more, his eyes now closed firmly as he spoke, feeling the words escape his throat and lips like small knives. He felt he might be walking the line by talking about such intimate deals with Megara, and yet...he did not mind really. He was not into lying in this place, anyway. "I suppose I fear dying without having ever lived over just...being dead."

She watched him closely, watching any movements or responses. He was an interesting person. Mysterious, yet somewhat transparent. "Seems like a plausible reason." Hattori seemed so easy to talk to. The words just seemed to slip right out, the conversations developing all on their own.

He did not mind sharing his beliefs with people. He felt it did not make him vulnerable. Instead, the prospect of others being more and more aware of the strength of his resolve only seemed to push his will to higher places. Megara-san seemed to be one of the first to show legitimate curiosity in his strange antics, ever since he stepped in Darkstone. Of course, Porter-san was someone he cared for; and he had a feeling he would not mind Megara-san herself too much. He could even come forth and also care for her.

"It makes enough sense for me."
