[BROADCAST] Pain and Pleasure

The TV in cell B2 went on with loud, white noise to instantly pull their attention towards it. In the matter of seconds the image had become clear, as well as the message. An older man's back was blocking the view of the camera for just a little while, but once the imagine changed Megara was also visible under him, naked and thrilled with every touch the man granted her.
Korso would have been so happy to show Dimitri this the moment Megara had told him nothing was going on between her and the slaver, but he'd saved it for a time it would hurt even worse. This seemed like such a time.
Even if Dimitri turned around to not watch the TV now, Megara's gasps and other sex noises would always haunt him. The older slaver thrusting inside of Dimitri's love would only get laid on top of his already apperant missery at his loss of her. If this wouldn't break him, he was stronger than he appeared.

Dimitri had just been sitting on the rug staring at the wall before the TV went on. The awkward silence between him and his cellmate just wouldn't end, and at a point he'd learned to stop caring and start daydreaming instead.
It didn't help that most of his daydreams were about Megara, and he really couldn't stand the thought of her now. He needed to forget her, that's what he should do. Just forget her and never think about her again. But why was it so hard...?
When the TV came on, he had to stare for several seconds before he realized just what was happening on it. Once he did he still couldn't rip his eyes away from the TV. It was like a carcrash. Horrible, but hypnotizing.
He felt anger and betrayal and hurt and every possible, bad emotion at the same time. He stood up quickly and ran to the bathroom, slamming the door behind him so he could hit the wall repeatedly without Cale hearing it over the sex noises. Or maybe he did hear it, at this point he didn't care much.
I know I told her to go with him, but I didn't mean it.. and.. and... that was fast..

Cale had been drifting in and out of sleep for a while now, but when he heard the noise from the TV he sat up, suddenly fully awake.

'Cool, porn,' he joked when he saw what had appeared on the TV. But when he saw how quickly his cell mate rushed to the bathroom he guessed his reaction to it wasn't the same as his own.

After a few minutes Cale stood up and walked over to the bathroom, knocking on the door loud enough to be heard over the TV.

'Not into porn, huh?' he said over the noise, trying to lighten the mood.

If Dimitri hadn't been angry already, he definitively was now. He wanted to shout at the man, but he couldn't even find the words to shout. "SHUT UP!" he finally shouted and hit the wall again, tears springing from his eyes now, his stomach twisting and turning, threatening to push his lunch back up again.
He was all too well aware of the fact that the door had no lock, but if the other man had any sense of logic at all, he'd stay away and do as Dimitri had told him. "Tell me when it's over," he pleaded a little calmer now, a little embarrased of his outburst, but still feeling so angry his vision blurred.

Cale watched the TV a little longer, wondering what it was about the two on the screen that had gotten him so worked up. It couldn't just be that he hates porn, could it? he thought as he continued to watch.

After a few minutes it didn't look like what was on the screen was going to end or that he was going to come out of the bathroom, so he finally decided to find out what the guys problem was.

Cale opened the door and poked his head inside, 'so, I'm guessing you're not enjoying the show out there?'

Dimitri spun around and lounged for the guy, grabbing him by his collar and raising his fist as if to hit him in the face. He didn't however. He was angry enough, but not brave enough, and he'd never hit anyone before.
"Shut up!" he told him again, blind with rage. His face must have been a terrible view, specially this close. His face was red, he was sweating, and his expression looked dangerously close to that of a snarling animal in a trap.
He pushed the man off of him and punched the wall instead, feeling the need to release the tense energy. "And stop looking at her!"
Realizing now that he had stepped forward to the doorway, and was fully capable of seeing the TV again he quickly turned around and walked further back into the bathroom. The image was still imprinted in his brain, and he couldn't get it out, but he didn't need more.

Cale was taken aback by the force in which he grabbed him, but he didn't expect him to go through with hitting him, from what he'd seen of him he didn't seem like that kind of guy. Then again, maybe I'm wrong about him, he thought as he watched him punch the wall.

So, it was girl troubles, he thought with a small smile as he told him to stop looking at the woman on the screen.

'Is she your girlfriend or something?' he asked carefully as he walked further into the room, closing the door behind him.

"Wipe the grin off your face," he said annoyed. Why was he smiling? Was he enjoying this?!
He realized she wasn't actually his girlfriend anymore but, that didn't mean he didn't still love her. He couldn't just turn it off like that. Though apperantly she can...
So he'd been right then. It had only been fun with him, she hadn't meant a word she said. He blamed himself for being that blind and stupid, but he blamed her equally for fooling him like that. Evil bitch.

'I'm sorry,' Cale said but his smile widened, he just couldn't help himself, the first thought which crossed his mind was how he could possibly get a girl like that to begin with. 'So what happened between you two?' he asked as he leant against the wall.

The man was only fuelling his anger. Wasn't he supposed to try to calm him down?
"Get out," he said as sternly as he could. He was well aware that he wasn't threatening to anyone, but he really meant it. If the man didn't either stop grinning like that, or get out, there was a big possibility Dimitri would actually hit him this time.
He rememebered having found him to be a rather good guy last time they met, but now all he could think was dick.

Cale glared at him, getting slightly annoyed of him shouting when he was, in his own way, only trying to help. With his good arm he pushed him up against the wall, 'hey, don't get mad at me. I'm not the one fucking her,' he shouted back as he kept him pinned to the wall, 'girls like that are poison, trust me it's better you find out now what she's really like..'

"I don't give a shit!" he snarled at him, honestly. "You think it's going to feel any better by you laughing at me, and reminding me every second?" He pushed back against the man, but was too weak in comparison to push him away.
"You think that stupid, smug grin ever helped anyone?!"

Cale winced slightly as he pushed against him, but he held his ground.

'Well it's helped me get girls over the years,' he grinned again, knowing that joking right now wasn't really going to help, 'besides I wasn't laughing at you,' he frowned slightly, 'it's obvious you care about her and she's an idiot if she just threw it all away like that. But if you want something to take your mind off it, then just ask,' he said as he took his arm away from him and instead put his hand on his shoulder, 'I hate to see a guy so heartbroken.'

Dimitri frowned. In one moment he was about to actually hit him, but now it seemed the man in front of him had changed entirely. His comment about getting girls hadnt gotten to him much anyway, seeing as he was with his own sister... remembering that he shuddered.
But he couldnt deny the hand on his shoulder was comforting, though he did wonder if Cale was just mocking him or actually trying to help. "Nothing will take my mind off of it now," he said solemly.

'What was that look for?' he said as he peered closer at him. He wondered if he was still thinking about what was going on in the other room or if it was something else this time. As Cale watched him, he tried to think of something that could distract him for a while.

Dimitri ignored Cale's question, barely even hearing it. He could still hear the sex noises from the TV in the main room, and winced every time he heard Megara moan. He wanted to shut it out, but at the same time he listened intently on it, not being able to focus on anything else.
Tears welled up in his eyes again, but he wasn't going to cry in front of another man, so they were soon gone, blinked away. "I told her to do that..." he told Cale. It stilled weighed on his chest. Would she still have done it if he hadn't said what he had back then?

Cale stared at him in disbelief, 'you told her to have sex with that guy?' he asked, he couldn't believe he was getting so upset when he had said something like that to her, 'was it the if she loves me she won't do it even though I said it was ok thing?'

"We were breaking up, and she was being stubborn," he said, not sure why he was telling him all of this. His mind wasn't working properly at the current moment, it was all just a fog of pain and disbelief and betrayal.
"Said she wasn't going to find anyone else ever, and I just... I meant it, I think but... I didn't think it would happen that fast..."

'You obviously still care about her,' he said, pondering the situation for a moment, 'we were part of the same game, we both know what it's really like in here..' he trailed off for a moment before turning to face him, 'who knows how long we have left in here, maybe she just didn't want to spend what little time she may have being upset over losing you,' he patted Dimitri lightly on the back and smiled reassuringly at him, 'maybe you should think about doing the same.'

Dimitri shook his head, but didn't know what about Cale's statements he wasn't agreeing with. Everything he said might well be true, but it didn't matter. Reasons didn't matter at all. It was done, and it hurt like hell.
"And how do you suggest I do that?" he laughed sadly. There was no magic way to forget about someone like that. It just couldn't be done. If it was, he'd done it a long time ago, and the world would be rid of a lot of pain.

'Hmm let's see,' he said as he sat on the bathroom floor, thinking about what he could do to take his mind off of what was happening in the other room.
'Are there any other girls you've seen that have caught your eye?' he asked eventually, not knowing if another girl is really what he wanted right now, but meaningless sex always seemed to help him when he needed a distraction.

His mind instantly went to Odette, but he quickly blushed and shook his head. How could he even think about that? He'd learned her name from the folder, and he remembered smiling at how such a pretty name fit her, but he felt ashamed by the thought. He didn't even know her, he just couldn't deny how amazingly beautiful she was. Thinking about her in front of Cale though just made him feel guilty.
But no, he wanted no one more than Megara. And in any case it didn't matter. Cale was his last cellmate. "I'll be out of jail after this, I think," he said. "You're probably my last cellmate. So it doesn't matter." That had been the reason for him to break up with Megara as well, hadn't it? He remembered it faintly, but somehow he still wished he hadn't done that.

'Then I'm guessing you didn't murder anyone,' he said when he heard how long he thought he'd be in here for. Then again this isn't exactly a normal prison, he thought as he glanced down at his bandages, unless they really do this in secret in other prisons..
'You really think they're going to let you go so easily?' Cale asked eventually, wondering if Dimitri had any doubts about his release.

"They can't do anything against it, or the government would get on their asses," he said, suddenly defensive. What if he really didn't get out of here? But he kept reassuring himself there was nothing the warden could do about it.
"And you really should read through that folder," he said, smiling slightly. He'd noticed there was one in this cell as well, so perhaps they were now a constant addition to the cells. He somehow hoped so, so he wouldn't forget anything.
The sounds from the TV in the other room had stopped, so he figured it was over now. That made him relax a lot more, though the memories still burnt in his mind.

'Maybe I should read it,' Cale agreed and laughed as a sudden thought occurred to him, 'what if we were kidnapped while on our way to a real prison and instead we ended up here, being tortured by a lunatic over a speaker?'
