DINNER DATE #1 Dimitri Donahue & Megara Jessabelle Rose

The cameras hidden behind the leaves of the trees gave Korso a perfect view of the awakening prisoners, while still giving them the sense of freedom and privacy. If they didn't look extremely close, they would never even notice they were there. They were necessary though, not only for Korso's amusement. Who knew what they could get up to when left unsuperviced.
The birds were already singing this early morning, and the quiet breeze whom most took for granted, probably felt like heaven to them. Sunlight would hit them as soon as they awoke, and he loved seeing those awed, happy faces that always followed as a consequence. He loved seeing them, knowing that they brought more hope and pleasure which he could destroy later on. No fun breaking someone who had nothing to lose.
On the table not far from where they were lying in the green grass stood everything of food which they could possibly desire or crave. He wondered which part of this treat would amaze them the most.
As he noticed them beginning to stir, he leaned back into his chair and watched the monitor closely. This would be fun.

Megara shifted her weight as she began to wake up. Something was different..She could feel a heat on her body and birds singing everywhere. Before she even opened her eyes, she knew this was the date, and he was here. Her eyes flew open and sunlight streamed in, blinding her until everything faded, and there he was. "Dimitri..."

Dimitri let his hand glide forward, caressing the grass beneath him. He still hadn't quite woken up and realized what it meant for him. Groggily he opened his eyes to stare at the ground with a blurry vision.
"What the..?" he mumbled to himself as he remembered this wasn't how it was supposed to be. Was this a dream? A really vivid dream? Turning around and looking up he had to quickly shield his eyes from the sun. It had been so long since he saw it. All of this was so overwhelming he had yet to even notice Megara lying a short distance away from him.

She slowly sat up, her fingers brushing the grass beneath her. It had been so long since she had been outside in the sunlight. She noticed Dimitri wake up but decided not to say anything. He probably wouldn't appreciate being dragged outside with her alone. She wouldn't be surprised if he risked escaping over the fence just to get away from her.
A sigh passed her lips as she put her fingers on her temples, trying to lessen the pain from the headache that stupid knockout gas always gave her, not looking in Dimitri's direction at all.

His head whipped around as he heard a sigh, though his head was still groggy and his vision blurry. He couldn't make out who it was at first, but once things came into focus more he let out a sigh of his own. Great...
He wasn't sure if he was glad to see her or horrified, or maybe a little bit of both, but in any case he had no idea what to tell her, so he stood up saying nothing, and looking around while rubbing his temples. The smell hit him before the sight did, but once he noticed the food on the table it was a matter of a split second before his mouth filled with water. I'm dreaming aren't I...?

She glanced around the yard, taking in the surroundings. The food, the outdoors, all of it. There had to be a catch. She walked over to the table, analyzing the food. Dimitri didn't seem thrilled when he saw her..as she expected. "Hi..." She didn't look at him, not wanting to anger him anymore, he hated her enough.

"Hi.." he answered, more in a sigh than anything else, but still wouldn't look at her. His eyes were fixed on the food on the table. A part of him feared that it was poisoned, but it couldn't be. Korso would never get rid of them in such an easy, boring manner. Something bothered him a lot though.... why were they here? And why the two of them specifically? He had to look around just to make sure there really were no one else around.

"I'm sorry...I'm the reason you're here..." She sighed and sat in one of the chairs at the table, not touching the food and still not looking at him. The longer they acted like this, the more she regretted choosing him. Maybe she should have just invited Hattori..at least he would talk to her and look her in the eye. She glanced around the yard, checking if there was anyone else, and no doubt cameras.

He looked at her once she revealed she had planned this.
"What are you talking about?" he asked, not mad or happy, just neutral and surprised. Looking at her now, he was starting to wonder if they had broken up too early. They could have had a nice time here, they could have avoided the heartache, but no way was he going back now. He couldn't bear breaking up with her twice. Better just to leave it like they were now.

She looked up at him, surprised he wasn't angry. "I got a letter in my cell that told me I could spend a day outdoors but only if I brought a male with me...I figurd you'd want a good meal or something before you get out..." Would he be angry with her? She hoped not..

"Why didn't you bring Cillian?" he asked in a neutral tone, almost as if he was bored. The truth was the name tasted sour on his tounge, and the mere thought of it nausiated him. He hadn't meant to say something so cruel right now, but he was honestly wondering why she hadn't. Perhaps a better question would be: Why had she chosen Dimitri now that they were broken up and over? Didn't she realize this would cause nothing but pain?

"Because I wanted to see you...I haven't seen him since that game, but after not seeing you with me after one day...I.." She couldn't finish her sentence as her eyes started to tear up, but she didn't let one fall. Cillian never even came to her mind when she read that letter. The first person was him, and here he was.

He saw her tears, and he couldn't begin to describe how unwell they made him feel. He didn't like seeing her cry, and his instant instinct was to take her in his arms and kiss her until it had all gone away. After looking at her and considering it for a split second however, he pushed the thought away from him. On the outside he didn't even look bothered.
"We should eat," he said instead, wondering how long they would be allowed to stay here. He had tried to ignore the food for a bit, not wanting to be rude to her, but he craved it so badly it hurt him. He needed those steaks.

She quickly wiped her eyes with her sleeve before any of the tears fell down her cheeks and nodded. "You're right." He didn't look like he even cared, but it was to be expected.He thought she had cheated on him. He hated her.
She looked at the food and tried to decide what to eat first.

He sat down, looking down at the table. He didn't really have much of an apetite now that she was here, but his stomach hurt and his mouth was filled with water. He couldn't deny how much he needed this. Though he didn't go hungry in his current cell, bread and water gave him nothing of the vitamins and proteins his body needed.
Lifting the lid of the plate in front of him he was overwhelmed by the smell and the warm air escaping. The steakes looked perfect, and before he even had the chance to think about it he found himself, cutlery in hands, tearing the meat from the bone.

She watched him secretly as he started to cut his steak, realizing it was probably the best idea since it wouldn't be as good cold. The stale bread was getting pretty old and now she had all of this infront of her, but didn't want to eat it. She took the lid off and started cutting the steak into little peices. It all looked so amazing;a juicy steak, all kinds of fruits and vegetables, everything they need to survive was in them so she had to eat.

He put the meat in his mouth and closed his eyes enjoying the satisfaction of a real meal. For several seconds he just sat there, savoring the taste, before he started chewing. He had taken two bites before he managed to focus on talking.
"Thank you.." he said carefully. He wanted to speak to her, look at her, but he was scared of what would happen if he did. Would they start fighting again? Would they start crying? Would they be stupid enough to kiss one last time? Or something worse? He didn't want to go through the separation all over again.

She had just been playing with her food for a few minutes until she heard him speak. It caught her off guard, but it made her want to smile. "You're welcome.." Just seeing him made her want to kiss him, hold him, be with him. But she couldn't do that now. She finally took a bite and the meat just melted in her mouth. It had been so long since she had real food, especially anything this good.

[OOC: Sorry for the late replies today! Had a lot on my plate, and it's been a Miss Disney deadline day so... xDD Really sorry though, that's still no excuse >.< But this will be the last post for today. Have to go judge the videos, get the finale video up etc. xDD]

He ate through his steak quickly, and easily gave himself a stomach ache, but he didn't care much right now. The pain was worth it for all the protein and vitamins he recieved in return. Just the taste alone would have been enough to be worth it.
He ate it in silence, not even looking up at Megara. What else was there to say that hadn't already been said?

She finished her steak and was already feeling full. There was still a bunch of food left, but right now she needed a drink. She stood up, walking over to the drinks and looking through them. Beer, sodas, wine. "What do you want to drink?" She turned to him and waited for a response.

"Beer," he answered simply. Lots and lots of beer.
This whole scenario still seemed so surreal to him. And painful. Nothing could help the awkwardness or the ache this whole situation seemed to drown them in, but alcohol might help, right? It was worth a shot in any case. He just wanted his senses dulled.

"Sure." She grabbed two beers and popped them open on the side of the cooler before walking back to him. "Here.." She handed one to him before sitting back down. Beer had been one of those things that she rarely had. Never felt the need to drink really..until now. Maybe a little alcohol would take the heavy atmosphere away.

He drank eagerly the moment he recieved his beer, and it was already halfway finished before he sat it back on the table and started eating of the berry bowl. How delishious all of this tasted. Had it always been this amazing, or was it all just because he hadn't tasted any of it in so long? This prisonsentence was giving him a brand new appreciation for food.

She took little sips of the beer, not wanting to get buzzed too quickly. She always was a lightweight..
The atmosphere was till extrememly heavy...something had to break the ice. "So...who is your cell mate this time?" She always sucked at trying to start conversations..it didn't help that he probably didn't want to talk to her at all.

He looked up when she spoke, but quickly looked back down again. He focused on the food, the only thing that couldn't hurt him.
"Cale Pierce," he said, not sure if she'd remember him from the times they tried to memorize the folder together. She never had seemed interested in that.. she had always wanted to do something else.. Remembering her suggestions he swallowed hard. No point thinking about it now. "What about you?"
