long time no speak || tag: C3

"Only thing I had was fighting. Nowthat there's consequences for it I don't know what I'll do. There isn't anything left. I came in the world fighting, and I'm going to leave it, fighting. Anchee Min wrote: 'If you can't go back in your mother's womb; you better learn to be a good fighter.'" Mulan rubs the back of her head. "That's what I did."

"Well, I'll make you a promise. If we ever share a cell, we can fight. It will let you get out some frustration." Fighting was something that worked every now and then. It's been awhile, but surely she could manage against Mulan.

Mulan laughs. "You sure MJ? You're awfully skinny... bony even. I've got gradually deteriorating muscle. I don't know if you can take my hits..." She wasn't gonna lie and say she didn't want to fight her. Because she'd fight anybody for her own pleasure, but she was afraid of actually hurting her.

Meg let out a soft laugh. "I'm sure I'll be fine. I've fought before. Yes I'm skinny, but don't worry, I've got a tough skin."
She knew it was something Mulan needed. It was easy to get hurt in a fight, but from what she's learned over the years, leaving a fight was just like getting into one. Harmless.

Mulan laughs again. "You think you could take me MJ? You're sounding kind of cocky over there." She grins.

"You bet little lady. I've had my fair share of fights before." True and not. Most of the fights she had been in were only a few minutes and rarely involved actual punching. But it counts. Anything to get Mulan to agree. She needed it.

"I bet. Living on the streets in all. You fight a police officer before?" Mulan wonders.

Meg fell silent at the mention of police officers. She avoided officers on the streets as best she could. The only interactions were with her victims. But none of them fought her...until the last one. The man that ruined her life. Got her locked up in here. She would have won if she pulled that trigger sooner.
"Twice actually...thirteen years apart. Neither ended well..." Her voice trailed off towards the end as the memories flooded back. She tried to remain positive for Mulan but this prison got her thinking. And thinking was never good.

(OOC: Sorry I left you last night! I had a lot to do today so I had to go to sleep <33)

"Yeah," Mulan nods. "I suppose I can see where you're coming from with that. When I did get involved with police it wasn't a good experience for me either..." Mulan ruffles the back of her head, finally lifting her head from the wall. Her fingertips graze the bump Sinbad had left her. "I fucking hate them. They never helped me with anything. Fucking pigs man." Mulan grumbles sourly with a grimace.

(OOC: No worries, it was already 2am when you did so I went to bed too xDD)

Meg stood up and stretched out her legs. These cells seemed to be getting more and more cramped as the days went on. "Cops are the worst. I'll tell you that much." She took her hair out of its ponytail and started to braid it as she walked in a pacing matter near the wall.

Mulanshrugs. "Anybody oppressing anybody is the worst to everybody." Mulan replies.

Meg laughed softly and threw her hair over her shoulder after she finished braiding it. "That's very true."
"Do you miss the outside Mulan?" She looked up at the ceiling and sighed.

Mulan thought a moment. Did she miss the outside? She sighs heavily; silent a few moments. "No." She finally answers. "No I don't miss it. I don't miss it at all."

Meg slid back down the wall again, her emotions starting to come out more than usual. "I wish I didn't...but I do. Well...mostly the past." She sighed and gently smacked her face to keep the tears back and wake up to reality. This prison made her think too much.

"For people like you, it's best you miss the outside." Mulan says softly. "I know what you mean.. about missing the past. That's probably what I actually miss. The way it used to be. The way it used to be here, the way it used to be when I was a child... Well... no. I don't miss that. I don't miss that at all." Mulan shakes her head slowly.

"I guess that's where we're different then. All I've ever wanted was to go back to my childhood and start over. Fix what went wrong and catch it before it happens." She closed her eyes and sighed.

Mulan chuckles softly. "Oh. You're one of those." Mulan rolls her eyes with slight agitation; her voice slightly. That wasn't fair. That wasn't fair at all.

Meg opened her eyes and bit her lip. "What's that supposed to mean?"
What did Mulan mean by that? Was she stupid for wanting to start over and make her life worth while?

Mulan sighs, rolling her eyes again. "Your superiority complex is outstanding." Shut up Sinbad. Mulan thought to herself. Even though he was dead, their prior conversations had been burned into her mind.
"It's not supposed to mean anything. It means you're one of the lucky ones. The ones that would actually be able to change what happened to them if they could go back. You could have had control. Me? People like me, everything was beyond them. What happened was inevitable and in return, everything that's happened to me after I turned six was nothing but a simple repercussion. I was probably going to live like this whether it was on my own accord or not. Yeah there was one thing that I did that I find slightly regretful. But this stuff like being sent to prison; I couldn't care less. There was nothing left for me anyway."

(OOC: No worries, I am doing the exact same thing <3)

Meg listened, but hardly any of it was getting through. You're one of the lucky ones. You could have control.
"You think I had a choice to be here? My life...my whole life was ripped away from me when I was just a child. A child. I was driven by pure blindness and now look where I am. If that bastard hadn't murdered everyone I loved..." Her voice trailed off as tears fell down her face. She sat silent for a few minutes, trying to calm down. She could never have control.
"I'm sorry."

(OOC: I'm so glad, I don't feel too bad )

Mulan began cracking her knuckles as Meg ranted I wonder exactly how hard I'd have to hit her to knock her out.. really hard or just a love tap?. "Hmm? For what? The rant or for my hard knock life? Because there's no need for that." "God you're such a bitch." Why am I hearing all these voices in my head? Am I becoming schizofrenic? Oh God. Don't tell me I'm gaining the 'C' word. Conscience. "I don't like apologies..usually. Sorry if I offended you MJ."

Meg bit her lip and stayed quiet for awhile. She really needed to stop unloading on people. She was too heavy. "Don't worry about it."

Mulan laughs "You're too nice. How'd you end up in this prison with a personality like yours?"

That caught Meg by surprise. Was she too nice?
"I was stupid." She picked up a skull and looked at it.

"I guess we all were." It was probably true but Mulan wouldn't say so. She didn't think so. "Well.. some people not so much."
