long time no speak || tag: C3

Mulan chews on her lip before bowing her head. Why wa sshe such a bitch? Accusing her of having the abliity to have control? In a sense she could've had it but- "I'm sorry. That must've been hard." Mulan says tears falling. "Your fucked up personality." Mulan presses her forehead to her knees. How do I change who I am? Change years of bad habits? She aske dherself.

"It takes some getting used to..." Her fingers played with the sleeve of her jumpsuit. Back to the childish habits again...She was too much of a child. But how could she grow up feeling like a prisoner for the rest of her life?

"Yeah." Mulan giggles slightly. "I know what you mean."

A few moments of silence passed by. The one thing that has been eating her up all day was that black binder. It was a lot thinner than usual. Meg reached over and grabbed it, holding it in her hands. "Have you looked at that black binder lately?"

Mulan rolls her eyes. "No." She nearly spat, realizing the aggravation she felt about the files came from her experience with Sinbad which's end result was the bump on the back of her head. She takes a silent breath before telling her the near same thing as Sinbad.
"What do I care what these people have gone through or what they've done? It's not relevant to me."
Aside from the Japanese man who looks so, so familiar. And possibly Cillian if he were the person she thought he was. Which he wasn't. Mulan didn't have the whole "possible" connections thing. All of hers had been cut off. "Are you like Pseudo and you read them to 'get ahead'?" Mulan calls over he shoulder.

"No, not all of the time. The only time I did was before my newbie woke up. Sometimes those are the ones that you need to watch out for. It's just...it's a lot smaller from the last time I saw it." She ran her hands over the cover. She didn't want to look and see who was gone.

"I'd only need it to see all the new ones. Everyone who's gone I remember. The cages and all that... I find no point in it. not to it, in it. My mother used to always say I was born in the year of the monkey. So she uses- used it as an excuse for my personality. Saying I always came out safe. She said, 'Monkeys are known for smart tricks, and is at their best at high class events. Like to mock anybody including themselves. The monkey is peerless and makes suspicions about themselves disappear from others. Monkey is playful and unstable. You like to leap from one problem to the other with constant childish prescence.'"
Mulan presses her lips together as she attmpts to remember the rest. "Then she said 'At the first sign of boredom you leap away.' I always hated the traditional Chinese stuff my parents tried to push on me." Mulan is silent a moment. "I think... I think she told me that because she didn't like me. Trying to make it seem like it was okay."

Meg bit her lip as she listened. "That must have been tough..."
When Mulan mentioned the cages, parts of the game came back to her. "I don't remember that game very well..only bits and pieces." The cages..the smell..the darkness of it all. That was clear.

"Hmm? Oh! The game! Right.. right." Mulan nods slowly as she tries to figure out a way to say this without being insensitive. "I remember it. Clear as day. Seeing Sinbad in the cage... screaming bloody murder and getting stares from everyone. I remember you." She had Cillian and Dimitri around her finger... she was really beautiful. But didn't Dimitri have Chel? "Dimitri lost his marbles about twice as much as I did- except when someone tried to comfort me, my mind actually adjusted and I understood what the fuck I had to do. Then Cillian came over and started slapping sense into him." It was slightly amusing, to see that other people suffered like she did... but it was disturbing to see that he'd suffered more. She felt bad that she felt that way. 'You're a monkey Mulan, it's what you do.'

That cleared up most of the fogginess. Meg remembered the screaming, from both Mulan and Dimitri. "I remember the screaming...I tried to help Dimitri but..he was too far gone. He wouldn't listen to anyone." She had given up on trying to help him. All he would do was cry so she just left him alone. She didn't even know Cillian had stepped in at one moment. The last thing she remembered was walking away and sitting under one of the trees, alone.

"Hmm... I don't remember the details of that. I was busy being a bitch to anyone in my line of fire. Which were... the older newbies. So the ones I haven't really met basically. In my defense they were being really idiotic. Then you," If they had been in the same room Mulan would've pointed her finger in her face. "Fucked me up and pulled a key out of fucking nowhere."

Meg could feel how Mulan felt even through the walls. The key...
"That key...it was in my envelope. It said I couldn't say anything so I made it look like I found it...I wasn't going to use it but..." Her hands tightened around the binder in her lap. She couldn't stand to see people suffer. Sinbad was already dead but Kuzco...he wasn't. He was alive. Trapped in a cage. She pulled her knees up to her chest.

"Hmph. He must like you.I didn't get anything in my envelope but a command. And it was pretty heinous. And it would've embarassing too..." Mulan flushes.

"In all the games I've been in, I usually refuse to do whatever he wants...maybe he likes that." Meg sat the binder back down on the floor. "What was yours? If you don't mind me asking.."

Mulan laughs. "Well uh..." Mulan shifts uncomfortably and closes her legs. She sorta wished Meg was in the room with her so she could just read her body language instead of having to say it aloud. "Lose my virginity." There. She didn't have to say sex.

Meg could feel the uncomfortableness just in her voice. "That's....so cruel." She understood how Mulan felt. She had the same feeling until Cillian. Mulan was only 17, so it makes sense that she hasn't lost it yet. And that said something good about her.

Mulan sighs heavily. "It's only hard for me because I was kind of neglected the whole growing up potion of my life. What with the stuff that happened when I was a kid and then before I was even out of elementary school I started training for the MMA's so I didn't really get the whole 'having a crush' thing. Kaila did. She was lucky. I had to defend myself so I didn't have time to pick out who was cute and who was not. So the flirting thing never learned it. Not to mention it wouldve been embarassing because the only men I knew were in cages." Sinbad... Jim..

"That must have been tough...Most of the men I saw growing up were the perverts...the ones that pined over prostitutes and all. I never went near them and then I got here.." Meg thought about all of the men in here. "Have you met Hattori yet? I think you would like him. He's very...dedicated in a way. Really smart too."

"Mmm. I tried to talk to him at the party. Then it all went black. I saw him do this move during the wet t shirt contest i wanted to lear- then there was supposed to be that dinner date thing. If that ever happens... believe it or not; there's something about him that feels so familiar. I kepp meaning to ask him if we've met before but it just works against my favor every time." Mulan huffs. He almost looked like... no. This guy's different. Different from him.

"If I recall he mainly did the 'dirty work' for his family...I don't think he told me the name though..."
When Mulan mentioned the dinner date, it made her think. So everyone got one of those huh? Well maybe.

FAMILY? Mulan gasps and whirls, pressing her hands against the wall. "Did he say anything about an organization? Anything at all?" She nearly yells. He couldn't be. He wasn't. He didn't look like him. He was older and the name.. she never learned the man's name.

"Uh no..not really. He was kind of private about it...He seemed to have a fascination with snakes though, if that says anything." Did Mulan know him? He never mentioned her or anything.

Mulan pauses a moment. "A snake..." Did they have some affiliation with snakes? Mulan couldn't remember, whihc meant she didn't know. She was too busy trying to get free.. "Think Fa, think!" She closes her eyes and presses her forehead against the cool wall. He used a sword... an insignia did she ever get the chance to see one? "Grr..." She growls, remembering her encounter. "I was too busy fighting I don't remeber god damn it!"

"Do you know him from before?" Meg wondered if it was smart to ask but it was a little too late now. It just came out.

Mulan sighs, taking slow deep breaths as her stomach disappears. "I think I do. If he's who I think he is... he killed my father and held me captive once. Possibly twice."
