Dulled Minds make Bad Ideas

When he broke the kiss, she just wanted to punch herself in the face and hide in the corner. It didn't mean that she wanted him for sex, she was just trying to get a better position to kiss him. But he must have misinterpreted it. "I-I'm so sorry, I was just moving-" Her voice trailed off as she quickly got off of him, her face flushed in embarrassment. She couldn't even look at him now..she felt horrible.

He felt bad now for making her feel this bad. He had no way of knowing what was going through her head, and he wasn't even going to try guessing, but he knew he'd made her terribly embarrased. That at least was apperant from her actions, stuttering and flushed face.
"I didn't mean to, ehh- I didn't mean that-" he said, trying to find the right words, but failing. He mentally hit himself. "I don't mind, I just- it's just-" He stopped talking realizing he probably wasn't helping at all. Now he just felt stupid for saying anything at all. Should've just gone with it..

She stayed quiet, unsure of what to say. Anything she would have said would probably make it worse, so she just bit her lip and kept her mouth shut. She should have known better. Both of them being so socially awkward was bound to end up in disaster. And she set off that disaster. Stupid...stupid stupid... "Uhh, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to imply anything.." She nervously pushed her bangs out of her face and behind her ear. They had finally gotten the awkwardness away...and now it was back. Smooth move...

"Oh.." he said, realizing she hadn't even meant to go there. He'd just been a fool for assuming that of her.
It was quiet for a while. For such a long while. Both were just sitting there blaming themselves and being too awkward to know what to say to help anything. If he wasn't well.. him, then he'd probably know what to say to make her feel better.
He looked up at her again and decided he had to say something, even if it wasn't helpful.
"Ehh... we could always try again?" he suggested, blushing at how completely stupid that sounded.

She looked up at him, her face still flushed in embarrassment. Did he still really want to be around her after that? Or was he just trying to make her feel better? She scooted a little closer to him, but too nervous to do anything but gently nod. He would probably have to make the first move, if he wanted to continue. She didn't want to screw anything up again. As if it wasn't enough she made him think she only wanted him for sex....that must have been what happened between him and Chel..

He let his hand slip around the side of her face, using his thumb to caress her cheek, and the rest of his fingers to gently draw her face closer. Had he really been lucky enough to find someone like her in this place? Someone as awkward as he was?
As his lips met hers once again he forgot all thoughts. He forgot everything but the moment and the beating of his heart when he closed his eyes. She tasted so good.. and just the feel of her soft skin under his hand was enough to make his breathing quicken.

She gently leaned her head into his hand when he caressed her cheek, her eyes closing as she neared his face. As their lips met once again, everything faded away. The awkward tension in the room, the previous embarrassing moment, all of it seemed as if it hadn't existed. All that was left was him. He was the only thing that seemed to matter. The only thing that was real. Every move he made caused her heart to race and her mind to blur.

This time he just wouldn't say anything, he decided. He didn't want to ruin anything.
He let his hand stay on her cheek, using his other arm to pull her closer to him, so that he could feel her body pressed against his. When she was close enough he released her to have his hand run up to her hair, running his fingers through it. Even though neither of them had had a shower in days, her hair still felt smooth against his fingertips.

She moved close to him as he pulled her towards him, her chest pressed against his. Chills ran up and down her spine as his fingers ran through her hair. His touch was so gentle and soft. She refrained from straddling his hips once again for fear that he would feel too rushed or pressured. Her arms loosely wrapped around his neck once again, one of her hands running through his hair.

He broke the kiss to smile at her, looking at her like a lover looks at the object of his admiration. Was he really this lucky? Or was that unlucky? He had finally found someone who could possibly care for him back, and it was in prison. He'd be out of her in a month or two, and then he'd never see her again. He wouldn't dare step foot into this place again, not even to visit her.
"That was.. nice," he said and smiled warmly at her, not sure what she wanted to do now.

She pulled back a little when he broke the kiss, looking into his eyes, her eyes filled with admiration. A gentle smile came her to face and she nodded slightly. "Yes...yes it was." Her voice was soft and shy. She didn't know what to do now...when she had kissed Cillian before, it just went straight into sex..then awkwardness afterward. She bit her bottom lip, unsure of what to do, or what his next move would be.

He pulled her in for a hug, then just held her in his arms, hoping that wasn't going too far and intruding on her personal space. Though a hug was normal right? At least for people who were comfortable enough to kiss.
He held her in his arms, not doing much else. Just enjoying the cuddle he closed his eyes and stroked her back, smelling her hair. Sure, it didn't smell that good after so many days of not showering, but it didn't smell that bad either, and just feeling her close to him was comforting.

She smiled as he pulled her in for a hug, her head resting in the space between his chest and his neck. His arms felt so good around her. His touch, his smell, everything about him made her heart go crazy. Surely he could feel her heartbeat, quick and consistent. Everything felt so natural, so comforting. He was perfect. She closed her eyes and just listened to his breathing and his heartbeat. She could spend forever like this.
