{TTW- Tag: Megara and Dimitri} A cold cell for a cold heart

Dimitri frowned. The woman was either a pathological liar, a psycopath or scitzofrenic. Every sentence the woman spoke was in a different tune, telling a different story. He was getting quite annoyed by it to be frank. Did she believe them to be idiots?
'Lying again,' he mouthed to Megara, finding it better to stay quiet and let Megara, who didn't seem as annoyed, lead the conversation in her calm manner. He slightly admired her for that pathience and grace.

Meg looked over to Dimitri, nodding to let him know she understood. She needed to trip her up again...but how? "So Helga..what was it that you used to do? To be working with Korso I mean?" Hopefully that wouldn't set off another bomb, but maybe that's what they needed to get the truth out of her.

{OOC: Soo sorry it took me so long to reply >.< I've been so busy with school and running I hadn't had much time to roleplay! But I'm back now ^^)

Helga folded her arms at the woman's question. She was busted and she knew it. Helga sighed and pulled her messy hair into a bun. "I," she started to say slowly, wondering if what she was about to say would soon backfire. "I was a guard." She bit her lip at the chilling silence following her answer. She tried to make up for it. "Korso, he forced me to do things which ultimately made me end up here. I haven't been lying to you, my situation is just... complicated."

Helga sighed in relief. She had been wanting to get that off her chest for days. She hated the fact that she was now Korso's little puppet who did whatever he told her to. But this was her fault. She did this to herself.

[OOC: No worries, I know that feeling xDD I started school this week as well xD]

Something kind of clicked in Dimitri's head. Everything he'd previously believed to be a lie almost seemed to make sense. He was still entirely skeptical of her, and didn't believe a word she said, but there was doubt there. He thought it was true, he just didn't trust that it was.
He didn't reply, now knowing she was a guard. He didn't hold it against her, but in this place.. seeing what he'd seen, knowing she might have been a part of it, that was a lot to take in. She couldn't ask them to be fine with that right away.

She let out a soft breath. She had been right. Something was off about her..and that was it. Helga didn't want them to know, but now that the did, there was no covering it up anymore. "Don't worry. We won't hold that against you." It was partly true, it wasn't her fault that Korso made up these terrible games..

Helga bit her lip so she wouldn't let any tears falls. She remained silent for a moment and cleared her throat to make sure her voice didn't quaver. "Thank you," she whispered, nodding her head. "Though I do understand if you were upset. I mean.." She scoffed a bit at her own comment. "I would hate myself if I were you." She looked down at the ground and thought of Jane. "I do hate myself," she said so quiet she barely heard it herself.

Dimitri still kept quiet. This was a bit too dramatic for his own taste.
"So what did you do to get locked in?" he asked instead, trying to divert the subject to something that wasn't just showing huge amounts of self-pitying to complete strangers. He found it a bit odd that anyone would do that.

Meg stayed quiet as Dimitri spoke. It would be interesting to hear what had got her into that cell. Of course, anything she had done against Korso would probably got her stuck in there anyway..

Helga shuddered at the answer to Dimitri's question. "I..." She tried to search for the right words but she couldn't find any. "I fell in love." She finally said. She had never used that word before and it felt weird coming from her mouth. "I fell in love with a prisoner and Korso caught us."

Normally, she would have shame from such a statement. But she missed Eva so much, she longed for her touch so much. Helga didn't care. She wanted everyone to know that she truly would do anything for Eva.

Dimitri frowned, and turned to grab the folder once again. He didn't remember any males at all that were fit to fall in love with in a place like this. Maybe Kuzco, but he doubted he'd go for that kind of girl.
"Who?" he asked as he flipped through the pages eagerly. Hopefully not the pedophile or the massmurder or the rapist, but who was left after those?

She looked at the folder with Dimitri, wondering who it was that she fell in love with. Couldn't have been Flynn? Or Tobias? She doubted it though..they didn't seem like Helga's type.

Helga laughed a bit when Dimitri asked who it was. "It was.. a woman." She said softly. Helga never really thought about her sexuality before. She never thought about liking men or woman because frankly she never had time for either. But then she met Eva and all became so clear. "Her name is Eva." She said. "And I don't think I will ever see her again."

He flipped through the pages, looking over the females now. It didn't phase him that she was lesbian or bisexual, it was just as normal to him as being heterosexual. He was surprised however when he found the woman she was speaking of. How could anyone ever love anyone like that?
In shock he didn't know what to say, so he stayed quiet and left it up to Megara. She seemed to be good with stuff like that.

She looked down at Eva's page, recognizing her again. When Dimitri didn't say anything, she figured it was up to her. "You might see her again..since you're a prisoner now, you could be in a cell with her soon?" It could possibly happen, couldn't it?

"I don't know," she said, her voice cracking a bit. "I doubt Korso will ever let us see each other again." She shook her head and tried to think happier thoughts. "But I shouldn't be spending my time being melancholy." She turned towards the couple trying to think of something else to say to lighten the mood.

"It's good you two get along," she said softly. "Sometimes cell mates hate and attack each other."

Dimitri flinched. He knew the reality of what she said, but didn't want to face it. It was what he had been afraid of since he got here, and he hoped that his next and last cellmate wouldn't be any more trouble getting along with than the cellmates he'd already had.
He had been studying the folder so far. He wanted to be able to connect faces to crimes, just so he could be prepared. But looking at the folder he knew the great possibility of being fucked after the next cellmate swap.

Meg remembered the cell she shared next to Tobias. How he and Flynn had gotten into a fight. "Yes..I've heard." She was truly grateful to have a cell with Dimitri. But soon it would end, and her odds of ending up with a rapist or a murder were gradually rising.
She could survive it though..couldn't she? It may seem like she's weak, but in truth, she's stronger than she looks. But would that be enough?
